My name is Barbara and I live in Raleigh, North Carolina. "Weave and Sew Dust"© is principally about relationships: relationships in my own life, how we are meant to live in relationship with one another, and those relationships that have been blown away by the sands of time, including our relationship with God. While my interest began with the state of interfaith relationships, I find there are many ways that everyday relationships can be nurtured. I am hoping to find others who are willing to explore how we can overcome in our society that which keeps us apart. We are nothing if we do not have respect for one another's inherent dignity. The methods expressed by myself or my fellow bloggers should be through the lense of love, light and laughter.
Currently, as the Coordinator of Social Justice Ministries for Sacred Heart Cathedral I will be posting some of my writings from the Justice Bulletin Board that I have written.
Having been an interior and residential designer, I will be using the symbols of home and design and art, to explore where we live and how we design our lives (or have our lives designed for us) and the effect these decisions have on our spiritual "interiors."
To re-energize our spiritual being, sometimes, we just have to dust off ourselves.
